J. Brown-Roenbeck: I have been a watercolor artist for 35 years. I enjoy doing paintings with nature in mind. I have participated in WCNY shows,60/60 for the Everson Museum and Art Mart for many years. I have taken my water color art work and applied them to my own line of greeting cards for awhile now.
J. Hand: My watercolor subject matter and style are eclectic. I am partial to images of reflective surfaces and those incorporating flowers and plants. My style ranges from representational to abstract with geometric elements. I also enjoy painting on Yupo a “synthetic paper” which lends itself to creating interesting visual textures. Recently, I have been experimenting with acrylics and using a more abstract approach in my work. I agree with the painter, Delacroix, that “The first merit of a painting is to be a feast for the eye.” and that is what I hope to achieve.
J. Dupre: Jeanne Dupre is primarily a watercolor landscape artist. She specializes in Adirondack and Central New York nature scenes. Her love for hiking and kayaking takes her to many beautiful places . Jeanne’s work has been collected and exhibited widely in the Adirondacks and beyond. This year she has been invited to participate as an Artist in Residence at the Adirondack Museum. She also was invited to The Hedges Lodge on Blue Mountain Lake and the Mirbeau Inn in Skaneattles. She is also commissioned by rustic furniture builders across the Adirondacks to paint scenes to be applied to their rustic furniture. Her current paintings can be seen at Gallery 3040 Main Street, Old Forge, Unique Woodworks in Cleveland N.Y, Bald Mountain Rustics, Keene valley N.Y. The Hedges Resort Gift shop Blue Mountain Lake, The Lake Placid Lodge, Oswego Artisans at Canal Commons Oswego and at the Rustic Furniture Fair at the Adirondack Museum in September. Most recently Jeanne won the Outstanding Watercolor award for her painting titled Durant Bridge at The View in Old Forge.
N. Kieffer: I am a CNY Photographer with a love for nature, children and animals. My camera is rarely far away, in order that I can capture those special moments that happen. Nature is what soothes my soul and refreshes my brain. God’s grace and wonder embrace me as I hike in the woods listening to the sounds of the animals or to the brook rushing over the rocks. Connections are what I wish to evoke in my images. Connections with the environment through my landscape photography and animals/family members with lifestyle photo sessions.
S. Murphy: Sue Murphy has enjoyed making Art as far back as she can remember. Her paintings have been in numerous national juried shows. Most recently, her painting, "D.C. Cherry Blossom Demo" won the Hyatt's Creative Award at the 2016 Niagara Frontier National Watercolor Show. Sue is honored (and pleased) that one of her Syracuse paintings ,"Midtown, Midwinter", is in the Onondaga Historical Association's permanent collection.
M. Lemko: I started painting 4 years ago after a 40 year absence. My medium is oil on canvas. I love working in oil because of the vivid colors and textures that can be achieved. I live in the village of Liverpool and Sackets Harbor, NY. I enjoy painting the beauty of the places where I live and travel. In addition to my original canvases, I have various wall size prints, note cards and post cards available for all of my paintings. I also do paintings on commission.
C. Boice: In May of 2010, Christa began to pursue her passion in professional photography by capturing the beauty of God's Creation and sharing it with others. During each season, she enjoys the excitement in photographing for her own business, Capturing His Creation. This self taught artist specializes in waterfall, landscape and macro photography. At her Art Mart booth, you will find a selection of detailed photos she has taken to fill every nature lover's eye and fit everyone's budget.
J. Timmons: I learned to draw & paint at a young age. Horseback riding also became part of my early life. My first Horse Show was in Hartford Connecticut. I received my BA from Marywood College, Scranton PA. During these years I received several key Scholastic Art Awards. Later, I moved to Syracuse, NY; Married & began my family. I joined the North Syracuse Art Guild in 1975. I have offered my art at ART MART since 1976. It has also been displayed at the NY State Fair In Fine Art Categories. I continue to show in Senior Citizens Categories at the Fair. My themes are mostly horses.
